+What kinds of questions do you ask?

Here are some of the questions we've previously asked: What courtship stories have you heard about your parents? What did you want to become when you were a child? How did you experiment when you a young adult (e.g., fashion, interests, politics)? When and where were you happiest? Tell me about the period you had the least money. Who were your friends, and what was your entertainment at the time (games, toys, adventures, etc.)?

+This is a gift. Can I get a gift card?

In the checkout form, indicate you'd like to receive a gift card. We'll send you one via email, and you'll be able to print it out or send it on to your loved one. Once your loved one contacts us via email or phone with their coupon code, we'll send the questions for them to answer.

+How long does it take?

Once we've received your answers, images, and reviews in a timely fashion, it typically takes our team six to eight weeks to craft your book. Give it another two weeks to print the book and have it delivered to you.

+Will I be able to edit my answers?

Yes! You'll have one review, and we'll incorporate any clearly articulated changes you have. It's your book, so please let us know as many changes in this round as you'd like to make the perfect book. If you change your mind and would like to have more substantial changes in a further round of revisions, we can provide you with a quote.

+Can you call my loved one to ask and record the answers for me?

Absolutely. We know that you're busy or that you might prefer a professional interviewer to elicit responses that you may not get, so you can add a MemoryLines interview to your package and we'll help you collect the answers for your Mini Bespoke book: Learn more about MemoryLines.

+What if I am not happy with my package?

If you are unhappy with your package, please let us know immediately via email to letstalk@plantain.me, and we'll make every reasonable effort to remedy your valid dissatisfaction.

+Will my stories be made public?

No. We will not share your book or answers with anyone unless you permit us to. However, we do reserve the rights to showcase your project, totally anonymously unless expressly permitted by you, in our portfolio.

+What is your refund policy?

Before you have received any questions from us and within 30 days of the Order, you can receive a full refund -5% transaction costs incurred by us in processing your payment. After receiving your questions, but before you submit any answers, you can retrieve 60% of your package price if the request is made within 90 days. For the avoidance of doubt, you are no longer eligible for any refunds after submitting your answers or after more than 90 days since the Order.

+What are your Terms of Service?

Please take your time to read through our Terms of service. We always do our best to fulfill your needs and meet your expectations, but it's essential to have things written down so that we are both clear on some details. Although the language is simple, the intentions are serious, and this a legally binding contract. Above all, we commit ourselves to enter this contract with a spirit of friendship and respect and look forward to crafting your story.
